賞析：這是貝多芬寫給友人阿芒達牧師的信。耳聾對於音樂家來說是無法彌補的災難，不但影響工作，而且使他從此過著孤獨淒涼的生活，還可能受到敵人的汙蔑。這段話概括了貝多芬由於耳聾引起的一切痛苦，他由此更深刻地體會到世界的可憐和自私。
