原文極盡詩意，不少人看第一眼就頭大。別著急，我們按步驟慢慢來。
1.用白話漢語說一遍
別看冰心奶奶寫得好看，其實這段話意思很簡單。我給大家說一遍。
“雨停了，有點光從窗簾後麵照進來。我打開窗戶一看，呀，雲彩沒了，樹葉上剩下的雨滴，在月光下，閃爍得像螢火蟲。真沒想到在這個孤獨的夜晚，下完雨之後，我能看見這麼美的一幅畫!”
2.把上麵這段白話文翻成英語。
The rain stopped. Therewassome light to come into the room through the curtain. I opened the windowandlooked out. Ah, the clouds had disappeared. The raindrops on the leaves,underthe moonlight, glistened like thousands of fireflies. I cannot think Icouldsee such a beautiful picture after the miserable rain in a lonely night.

3.好的，下麵我們來“精修”。在這一布中主要實現的是表情功能，具體來說有兩方麵，一是優化語言，二是加強連貫。
一句一句來。

往下。“涼雲”其實就是烏雲的別稱，不翻出來也沒關係。The clouds haddisappeared/vanished.(注意時態)。接下來我們在剛才譯文的基礎上稍加修飾即可。The remaining(殘)raindrops on the leavesglistened beautifully(各種讚美的形容詞都可)under the moonlight like thousands (都是虛指，可以換成countless,再文一點可以換成myriads) of fireflies. 這裏靈活一點，就不用非得糾結是螢火蟲還是螢火蟲的光了……
最後一句。注意這裏的感歎語氣。一般來說，像“誰能想到”“哪裏想到”“真沒想到”這種表達，英文裏有對應的，叫To think that……
這句話可以搞成To think that I could seesuch a beautiful sight afterthe miserable rain in a lonely night!(孤燈其實就是孤獨的夜晚，直接翻孤燈反而會顯得奇怪。)

如何做好中譯英翻譯題
一、分析句子結構、尋找合適的句型中文必須仔細讀，一定要看的就是題目給我們的關鍵字或關鍵的詞組，也就是我們常說的key words。
尤其是最後兩句翻譯句子，它們大都在句子結構上提高了難度。
讀什麼？讀出句子結構：對於簡單句，辨別出主謂賓，分清定語、同位語和狀語；對於並列句，記住兩個語法意義上獨立的分句，須由連詞連接起來；對於複合句，須區分定語從句，名詞性從句以及狀語從句。
一般來說，中譯英的句型可分為三大類：1.簡單句；2.並列句；3.複合句；同時我們也要注意非謂語動詞及其他一些特殊結構。
回顧近幾年的高考試題時，也不難發現試題中考了一些特殊句式。
如：It句型（近幾年考得較為頻繁）、倒裝句、with結構。
二、明確考核要點、選擇詞語搭配在高考翻譯題中，我們也不難發現，每一句常含有二、三個詞語搭配，翻譯時稍不注意就會失分。
因此，在做每一道中譯英題時，首先要確定句中幾組（個）動詞或動詞詞組，然後選定恰當的詞語以及相應的搭配，尤其要注意括號內所給詞語的準確運用。
三、確定時態和語態、注意前後呼應時態語態一直是英語考試中考查的重點。
