小熊維尼(Winnie the Pooh)可能是世上最廣為人知而又最可愛的小熊。1921年，一個叫克裏斯托弗（Christopher）的小男孩在一歲生日時收到一隻玩具熊。後來他為這隻玩具熊找來一些小夥伴：屹耳、袋鼠媽媽和小豆、小豬、跳跳虎。1924年，克裏斯托弗和動物園裏叫維尼的黑熊成了好朋友，它的爸爸米爾恩（Alan Alexandra Milne，或常被簡稱為 A. A. Milne，英國作家，1882~1956）因此獲得靈感，以“小熊維尼”為主題創作了一係列家喻戶曉的故事書。
